This paper is a continuation of an earlier work [cf. J. Reine Angew. Math. 460, 127-154 (1995; Zbl 0811.14036)] in which the authors introduced the concept of Wronski systems on a noetherian scheme \(X\). In the paper under review they associate to any Wronski system a corresponding gap sequence and Weierstrass points. In the case that \(X\) is a smooth family of curves there is a canonical Wronski system coming from the sheaves of principal parts of an invertible \({\mathcal O}_X\)-module. The Weierstrass points coming from this system generalise the classical notion of Weierstrass points associated with a linear system on a smooth curve.
