The article contains a brief biography of the mathematician Wolfgang Doeblin (= Vincent Doeblin) and the translation into English of the main results found in C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I Math. 331 (2000), dedicated to Wolfgang Doeblin's ``Pli cacheté No 11.668''. The exposition of his results on problems of continuous Markov processes, particularly of one-dimensional diffusions, as well as the author's comments about these results are presented. The list of 27 works of Wolfgang Doeblin from 1936 to 1940 is presented.
