The authors study a critical elliptic equation of prescribed scalar curvature type on a bounded domain of the Euclidean space. They prove, under suitable conditions, that there exists a barrier for a given linear term below which the equation does not have a solution, and above which the equation does have a solution. The result is nice and the paper very pleasent to read.
