The author calculates a series of principally specialized characters of the \(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}(m| 1)\)-modules of level 1 and shows that the principally specialized characters of the basic modules are expressed as an infinite product. The author also deduces the specialized character formula of ``quasiparticle'' type.
