The paper deals with the problem on the effect of liquid counter-streams nonstationary states on the cavities formed by the streams. The author obtains a differential equation describing the deviation of free surface from the stationary state. The obtained equation is numerically analysed for the case of harmonic law of changing of the perturbing effect. The results of analysis of the obtained solution are presented.
