The author considers the representation of solutions to the Cauchy problem for a class of evolution equations which contain the Schrödinger equation. The proposed representation of solution is based on the Chernov theorem (see [\textit{R. P. Feynman}, ``Space-time approach to non-relativistic quantum mechanics.'' Rev. Mod. Phys. 20, No. 2, 367--387 (1948), \url{http://dx.doi.org/10.1103/RevModPhys.20.367}]).
