In the paper it is proved that the topological product \(\prod\{X_\alpha\: \alpha\in A\}\) is rectangular, if \(X_\alpha\) is a perfect pre-image of the paracompact \(\Sigma\)-space \(Y_\alpha\), \(\alpha\in A\), and every finite subproduct of the product \(\prod\{X_\alpha\: \alpha\in A\}\) possesses a countable closeness.
