The authors study weak convergence of bounded monotone set functions and obtain several results that generalise classical theorems concerning weak convergence of measures, e.g., Portmanteau type theorems and Prokhorov's theorem. They also describe a suitable topology (called the Lévy-topology) that is useful to study the properties of weak convergence for abstract set functions.
