The author considers a boundary value problem for the Blasius equation in the boundary-layer theory on a half-line. Formal and constructive difference schemes are constructed on uniform meshes with infinite and finite numbers of mesh points. Conditions are presented under which the difference solutions and their difference derivatives converge with a close-to-first order as \(N\rightarrow\infty\), where \(N\) is the number of mesh points.
