The author starts the paper by describing the construction of the analytic torsion forms of Bismut and Lott. He proves that the de Rham complex, provided with a suitabe filtration, calculates the Leray spectral sequence. This is the basis for the main result of the paper, which is the proof of the functoriality of the real analytic torsion form with respect to the composition of two submersions.
