A remark on harmonic map flows from surfaces (Q1854065)

The goal of the paper is a Theorem proving that any weak harmonic map flow from a compact Riemannian surface to a general manifold with sufficiently small and globally bounded energy is always smooth. The approach is based on the technique by \textit{F. Hélein} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 312, No. 8, 591-596 (1991; Zbl 0728.35015)]. The author also compares his result with the result by \textit{A. Freire} [Comment. Math. Helv. 70, No. 2, 310-338 (1995; Zbl 0831.58018)].
