Let \(E\) be a Riemannian vector bundle on \(M\), \(M\) a compact Riemannian manifold and \(\Sigma\) the sphere sub-bundle of \(E\). The authors investigate the possibility of embedding \(\Sigma\) into \(E\). The embedding should admit prescribed mean curvature of various types.
