The author discusses infinite generalizations of permutations. The point of view of regarding a finite permutation as a pair of total orders is adopted; a natural infinite generalization derives. Hence, infinite permutations appear to be homogeneous structures as defined by Fraissé. The aim of this paper is to determine the Fraissé classification of permutations; it is proved that there are just five Fraissé classes of permutations.
