In continuation to a paper of two of the present authors, see \textit{R. Li} and \textit{C. Swartz} [Acta Sci. Math. 58, 497-508 (1993; Zbl 0804.40003)], and based on a suitable uniform convergence principle established in \textit{R. Li} and \textit{M.-H. Cho} [J. Harbin Inst. Technol. 24, 107-108 (1992; Zbl 0970.46534)], the paper presents a series of abstract summability results for matrices of linear and some nonlinear operators between topological vector spaces.
