Electromagnetic field singularities (Q1856947)

This paper is devoted to the electromagnetic fields with axially symmetric radiating sources. The main goal is to solve the inverse problem by connecting the far-field pattern \(E_\infty: E(r,\theta)= E_\infty (\theta) {e^{ir} \over r}+0({1\over r^2})\) for large \(r\) with \(E\)-field singularities. However this problem is not solvable in this generality. Therefore the author obtains results that are in a sense best possible by constructing five of the six integral transforms necessary for a complete characterization of both the direct and inverse problems.
