For the initial value problem \[ y''=f(x,y), \quad 0\leq x\leq X_0, \quad y(0)=y_0, \quad y'(0)=y'_0 \] the author considers Störmer's method of its numerical solution, and proposes an estimation of the goal error. In contradiction to the coordinate-wise estimation, this method does not lead to the exponential estimation growth (''Moore's effect'') when \(x\) increases.
