This paper provides Galerkin and inertial algorithms for solving a class of nonlinear evolution equations. Spatial discretization can be performed either by spectral or by finite element methods; for the time discretization, an Euler difference scheme with variable time step size is used. The boundedness and stability of these algorithms are studied.
