The authors are dealing with an important and interesting problem of numerical itegration concerning the optimal integration for fast oscillatory functions of two variables. When a priori information is limited, the problem is constructively solved. Next, the authors analyse the connection between the the above problem of integration and the problem of optimal recovery of a function from interpolational classes. This connection is analysed using the properties of majorants and minorants of the interpolational classes.
