Fourth-order differential equations with integer indices of Fuchs (Q1860533)

The authors study some ordinary differential equations of the form \(y^{IV} = F(x,y,y',y'',y''')\), where \(F\) is a certain polynomial in \(y\) and its derivatives, whose coefficients are analytic in \(x\). They give a list of such equations with fixed critical points. Previously problems of this type were studied, for example, by \textit{F. J. Bureau} [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 66, 1-116 (1964; Zbl 0129.06101)].
