Let \(F \subset K\) be two number fields. If \(\delta(K/F)\) is the greatest common divisor of the discriminants of integers of \(K\) with respect to \(K/F,\) then \(\delta(K/F)\) is divisible by the discriminant \(d(K/F)\) of \(K/F.\) The author gives a necessary and sufficient condition for a prime ideal of \(F\) to divide \(\delta(K/F)/d(K/F).\) This extends her earlier result [Nagoya Math. J. 160, 181-186 (2000; Zbl 0967.11044)].
