In this fourth part of a series of papers published in the same journal, the author continues to use the vector bundle-like standpoint from [\textit{R. Miron} and \textit{M. Anastasiei}, Vector bundles and Lagrange Spaces with Applications to Relativity, Geometry Balkan Press, Bucharest (1997; Zbl 0884.53003)] according to which the Finslerian gravitational field is regarded as the unified field over the total space of a vector bundle whose base manifold is the \((x)\)-field and the fibre at each point \(x\) is the \((y)\)-field of internal variables. He goes further and proposes a more microscopic localization with the help of a second order vector bundle-like structure. Physical meanings of the results are pointed out. For Part III, cf. ibid. 32, 845--849 (2001; Zbl 1029.53031).
