The author uses some results from a work of \textit{K. L. Duggal} and \textit{A. Bejancu} [Acta Appl. Math. 31, 171-190 (1993; Zbl 0782.53108)] and studies a class of light-like hypersurfaces of an indefinite quaternionic Kähler manifold. In particular, it is proved that there exists no totally umbilical hightlike real hypersurface of indefinite quaternionic space forms with non-zero constant sectional curvature.
