The simulation of timed Petri nets in the deterministic case is addressed. Both transition-timed and position-timed situations are considered, allowing re-entrant firing of transitions. The pseudo-codes associated with the algorithms are given in an appendix. Their implementation leads to an instrument for the performance analysis of transient and steady state behavior of the discrete event systems modeled by timed Petri nets.
