This paper is concerned with the computation of singularly induced bifurcation points arising from parameter dependent differential-algebraic equations (DAGs). This is done by extended system reduction and associating the singularity induced bifurcation points with the equilibria points of the extended system, which can be computed by the Newton-Raphson method.
