Topological dynamic classification of duopoly games (Q1862330)

The \textit{Cournot Duopoly Map} on the unit square is of the form \(F(x,y)=(f(y),g(x))\) where \(f\) is the first player's best (quantity) response to the second player's quantity, and vice versa for \(g\). The paper studies the topological complexity of the dynamics of such map, and provides further characterizations of the property of zero topological entropy besides those found by \textit{R.-A. Dana} and \textit{L. Montrucchio} [J. Econ. theory 40, 40--56 (1986; Zbl 0617.90104)].
