The author proves the existence of subharmonic solutions for second-order differential equations with asymptotically positive homogeneous nonlinearities. For the first of the three theorems proposed, one should refer to \textit{A. Fonda}, \textit{Z. Schneider} and \textit{F. Zanolin} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 52, No. 1--3, 113--140 (1994; Zbl 0810.73030)].
