Two versions of the time collocation method (TCM) are compared, concerning the time discretization: TCM-EP with explicit polynomials and TCM-DQ with differential quadrature. The implementation on a shared memory parallel computer is discussed and numerical experiments are presented, including a comparison to a spectral collocation method.
