Summary: The object of this note is to introduce and study topological properties of \(\alpha\)-derived, \(\alpha\)-border, \(\alpha\)-frontier, and \(\alpha\)-exterior of a set using the concept of \(\alpha\)-open sets. Moreover, we study some further properties of the well-known notions of \(\alpha\)-closure and \(\alpha\)-interior. We also obtain a new decomposition of \(\alpha\)-continuous functions.
