The author investigates the solutions of the Volterra integrodifferential equations for some classes by a perturbation of Desch-Schappacher type [cf. \textit{W. Desch} and \textit{W. Schappacher}, Semigroup theory and applications, Proc. Conf., Trieste/Italy 1987, Lect. Notes Pure Appl. Math. 116, 125-152 (1989; Zbl 0701.47021)] and applies them to some boundary value problems and inhomogeneous retarded differential equations.
