The \(2+1\)-dimensional de Sitter and anti de Sitter space-times are represented here as unit spheres of the \(3+1\)-dimensional Minkowski space-time. The purpose of the present paper is to deduce surfaces of constant curvature in these spaces. To this end, the Bäcklund theorems known from the Euclidean signature case are generalized.
