Cartan's equivalence method is used to geometrize non-holonomic mechanics by associating to such a system an Euclidean connection. This is supplemented by a detailed version of Cartan's affine generalized space. In an example a constrained particle in \(\mathbb{R}^3\) is illustrated using modern differential geometric tools.
