Asymptotic inversion formulas are obtained for the Radon transformation \[ g(\theta, p)= Rf(\theta, p)=\int_{\theta x=p} f(x) dx, \quad (\theta, p) \in S^{n-1} \times R, \] in terms of moments \[ g_j (\theta)=\int_R g(\theta, p) p^j dp, \quad j=1,2,\ldots. \]
