The push-out region of an immersed manifold (Q1865869)

In this interesting paper the authors study the topology of the push-out region \(\Omega(f)\) for an immersion \(f:M\to R^n\) in the case when the normal holonomy group \(\text{Hol} (f)\) is not trivial. The paper extends the work of \textit{S. Carter} and \textit{Z. Sentuerk} [J. Lond. Math. Soc. (2) 50, 404-416 (1994; Zbl 0807.53042)] who obtained results for the case when \(\text{Hol}(f)\) is trivial.
