One of the interesting integral equations is the second kind linear Volterra integral equation with convolution kernel. \textit{R. Ling} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 64, 381-397 (1978; Zbl 0403.45001); Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 5, 123-131 (1982; Zbl 0482.45004)] found some boundaries for the solution of the second kind linear Volterra integral equations with unit source term and with positive monotonically increasing convolution kernel. The authors obtain bigger boundaries than every desirable positive integer for the solutions of the equations and develop a method which ensures the expansion of the boundaries of the solution functions of that type of equations.
