The paper is devoted to the investigation of the problem how to obtain Glimm-type estimates for interactions of nonlinear waves of a quasilinear hyperbolic system. Thereby, it is only required that the Jacobian matrix is strictly hyperbolic without any additional assumptions on the number of inflection points of the associated flux function.
