The author develops a \(k\)-step Obrechkoff method to obtain numerical solutions of the Cauchy problem for ordinary differential equations of arbitrary order. It is shown that the convergence of the multi-step method depends on its stability. The maximal value of the degree for stable and nonstable \(k\)-step Obrechkoff methods of explicit, implicit and forward-jumping types is defined.
