The authors extend the main results of \textit{N. G. Ushakov} and \textit{V. N. Ushakov} [J. Math. Sci., New York 83, 447-452 (1997; Zbl 0883.62017)] to a class of discrete distributions. Stability estimates are presented in the problem on reconstruction of summands distribution when the distribution of their sum is known.
