The authors study the algebraic and topological properties of the sets of \(D\)-stable and additively \(D\)-stable matrices [for definitions see \textit{K. J. Arrow} and \textit{M. McManus}, Econometrica 26, 448-454 (1958; Zbl 0107.37201)]. Also some invariant transforms are presented as well as the correlations with other matrix sets.
