The authors study a two-species Lotka-Volterra competition model with discrete delays but without instantaneous negative feedbacks. They establish some new \(3/2\)-type criteria for the global attractivity of the positive equilibrium of the system. These criteria are convenient and better than the existing estimates on the diagonal delays.
