Observer-based stabilization of switching linear systems (Q1868062)

The authors have used the pole assignment method to design an observer-based controller for both a finite and an infinite switching linear system. The switching of the observer and controller need not coincide exactly with the switching system. In addition, the authors have reconstructed the state of the system and the error between the state and the estimate of the system by the output of the system in some interval. The authors have shown that the proposed method can achieve any prescribed decay rate.
