Symmetry analysis of an integrable reaction-diffusion equation (Q1868524)

Based on Painlevé and Lie symmetry analysis the authors give a systematic investigation of the invariance and integrability properties of a two-component reaction-diffusion system \[ u_t-u_{xx}+2 u^2 v-2ku=0,\quad v_t+v_{xx}-2 u v^2+2kv=0. \] This allows to obtain similarity reductions and to derive a rich variety of new particular solutions.
