The authors use the Carleman linearization procedure to investigate the integrability of the system (1) \(\dot x=P(x)\), \(x\in\mathbb{R}^n,\) where \(P(x)\) is a \(m\)th-degree polynomial vector field with \(P(0)=0\). A general approach is proposed to reduce the problem to the solvability of generalized algebraical eigenvalue problem. The author's result is a generalization of some known results.
