The flower at a point of a Steiner triple system is the set of triples containing that point. The paper determines the spectrum of integers \(k\) (with only nine undecided cases) such that there exists a pair of Kirkman triple systems on \(2r+ 1\) points that share \(k+ r\) triples, \(r\) of those being the triples of a common flower.
