This paper contains some new binary extremal self-dual codes and several new results of these codes. The constructions of the codes are also given; this is the purpose of the paper, and interesting construction methods and forms for some codes are presented. In particular some new extremal singly-even self-dual codes along with their parameters and weight enumerators are given that were not previously known to exist. Also some new singly-even self-dual codes are presented.
