\textit{L. A. Alisevich} [Differ. Uravn. 19, No. 8, 1446-1449 (1983; Zbl 0524.34018)] and \textit{V. I. Mironenko} [Differ. Uravn. 25, No. 12, 2109-2114 (1989; Zbl 0697.34043)] have introduced the method of reflective functions in order to construct Poincaré maps for concrete systems. In the present paper, this method is applied to 2-dimensional periodic systems in order to establish existence and stability of periodic solutions.
