The paper deals with the proof of the unique solvability theorems for approximate problems by the fundamental solution method applied to the Dirichlet boundary value problem of the two-dimensional reduced wave equation in the exterior region of a disc. The results can be considered as natural but partial extensions to the Helmholtz equation in a domain exterior to a disc.
