This paper investigates a target problem in a differential game, where the target is in the space of (absolutely continuous) trajectories. The author firstly obtained a kind of viability result for functional differential inclusions based on topological methods [\textit{L. Górniewicz}, Topological fixed point theory of multivalued mappings (Mathematics and its Applications 495, Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers) (1999; Zbl 0937.55001)]. An extension of this result is also obtained for differential inclusions associated with differential games with continuous strategies.
