The paper presents an analytical method for the design of a new CMOS operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) using a cross-coupled quad cell based input stage and conventional current mirrors together with a linearizing differential pair in the output stage. The authors claim that the resulting circuit improves the linearity of the OTA over a large turning range. SPICE simulations are also provided.
