The massless Dirac equation is considered on 3D de Sitter spacetime. The variables separation is made and exact solutions for the radial equation are found. The flux accross the cosmological horizon and the absorption cross section is calculated. It is found to be equal to zero as in the case of the scalar field. The entropy of the Dirac field is calculated inside the horizon and a brick wall. An improved brick wall model is investigated. A comparision with other cases is made. An analogous calculation was made previously for black holes [\textit{A. Lopez-Ortega}, ibid., 35, 59--68 (2003; Zbl 1023.83016)]. The author intends to extrapolate the analysis for a massive Dirac field.
