A Steffensen pair is a pair of strictly increasing functions that satisfy some complicated inequality (which is not clearly defined in this paper). Applying a sufficient condition by \textit{H. Gauchman} [J. Inequal. Appl. 5, No. 1, 53--61 (2000; Zbl 0952.26012)], the authors construct two classes of Steffensen pairs.
